StoryWalks

Welcome to FABN StoryWalks in the Biosphere

Welcome to StoryWalks in the Biosphere, a great community initiative supporting literacy, healthy families, and nature connections. Inspired by the Story Book Trail at Limerick Forest and the original StoryWalk project in Montpellier, VT by Anne Ferguson, we are excited to bring you seven StoryWalk Trails throughout the Frontenac Arch Biosphere.

Have you ever been reading a book and wanted to bring it outside? Or maybe you’ve been wandering on a trail and wished that you brought a book along with you? StoryWalks in the Biosphere will put you on the trail, with stories that will connect you to the natural world, Indigenous knowledge and experiences, and local authors. Hop on a trail and enjoy the beautiful and shared spaces of the Frontenac Arch Biosphere, while supporting early literacy and community too!
